I found my love for swimming early, through a swim team at age 3 and competing on different teams through age 18. Over the past 15+ years I have worked in aquatics in a variety of roles including survival swim instruction, pre-team development, assistant coaching, teaching aqua aerobics, coaching Masters swimmers and triathletes, and aquatics management. Every one of those experiences has shaped the coach I am today. I care deeply about helping swimmers build real confidence in the water through solid technique, good habits, and a practice environment that feels both purposeful and fun. I truly believe that when swimmers enjoy coming to practice, everything else falls into place. Building that kind of culture, one where athletes feel motivated, connected, and genuinely happy to show up, is the part of coaching I am most passionate about.
I've been immersed in the swimming environment for as long as I can remember. I spent countless summer days at the local swim club, not unlike Foxridge, where my mother worked. I started swimming competitively in my high school years, swimming for the high school team and the summer team at the very same club. I continued competing on my college's club team, where I eventually served as club president. I've taught swim lessons at the YMCA for people of all ages and skill levels. All of these experiences taught me the value of effort and determination. Just as importantly, they taught me how to create a strong team environment, where swimmers create long-lasting friendships and support each other as they strive to improve their skills. My goal as a coach is not only to build the swimmers' skills and strength, but to recreate the environment that offered me so much throughout my swimming career.
I’m Ava and I am going to be a junior at Cherry Creek High School. I’ve swam on Foxridge since I was 9 years old, and have loved swimming ever since. I have swam for Aquawolves, a competitive year-round team for 3 years. I have also had 2 great years swimming for the Creek Girls JV1 team, and have lettered both years. I loved working with the swimmers last year and cannot wait for this one. I believe technique is the most important and that’s what I’ll spend the most time on. Summer swim was always such a fun experience for me and I can’t wait to help others experience it too!
My name is Caleb and I am a Freshman at Arapahoe High School. I have been a part of Foxridge Swim Team for 5 years and I’m excited to be a Jr. Coach. I have enjoyed getting to be a better swimmer on this team and love the time with my teammates. I really enjoy working with the younger swimmer and look forward to doing so as a coach this year. When I’m not helping little swimmers as a coach, I’m probably wrangling my three little brothers who are also on the team. Outside of swimming I enjoy playing violin and running. I’m looking forward to a great summer!
Hi, I’m Celia! I’m a junior in high school, a second-year lifeguard, and this is my second year as a junior coach. I grew up in the neighborhood and swam on the team when I was younger, so it’s really special to now help coach the next generation of swimmers. I love working with younger kids and helping them build confidence, improve their skills, and have fun in the water. I’m excited for another great swim season!
Being in the water is one of my favorite things whether I’m in the pool or at the beach. I’ve been swimming since I was 5 at SwimLabs. I then joined the Foxridge summer swim team when I was 8. When I was 11 I joined Slip Stream Aquatics which was a competitive year-round swim team which I did for a year. This year I participated in Arapahoe High school’s JV swim team which immersed me in a whole new community and I made so many new friends. I also love figure skating and enjoy reading and playing with my four cats! Becoming a coach this year means so much to me and is something I’ve been looking forward to for many years. My goals as a coach is help kids grow not only as swimmers but as people too. Being apart of a team teaches the most important lessons. I’m so excited for a great season!
I’ve been swimming competitively for over 11 years, including 6 years here at Foxridge! I currently swim for my club team, Greenwood Tiger Sharks, and for Cherry Creek High School. Throughout my time at Foxridge, my coaches created a fun, positive environment that I still value today, and I hope to bring the same enthusiasm to the team this summer. I also look forward to expanding my experience in both swimming and leadership. I love swimming because of the teamwork, fun, and friendships that come with being a part of a team, and I am super excited to be back at Foxridge this summer!
I have loved swim my entire life, I started swimming when I was nine months old and went competitive when I turned six. I currently swim varsity for cherry creek high school and aces swim club. I have been swimming for foxridge every year since I was five and I love this team so much! I live with my mom, dad, sister, and two cats, and I am a huge fan of music and dancing at practice! I was raised on swim team being a fun and effective way to build confidence and make new friends; I am beyond excited to reciprocate the values that I grew up with and make swim team a fun and lighthearted experience!
I’ve been a part of the Foxridge Swim Team since I moved here in 2015. Swimming has always been a big part of my life, and it’s given me so many great friendships and opportunities. I started competing when I was 7 years old, and now I swim for the Aquawolves and Cherry Creek High School. I swim year-round, and I also enjoy skiing, mountain biking, and hiking. This is my second-year coaching at Foxridge, and I’m really looking forward to seeing all the familiar faces again. The community here at Foxridge is something I have never experienced anywhere else, and I'm extremely grateful that I get to be apart of it. I'm looking forward to a great season with everyone!

Hi, I’m Noah Brown, a 2026 team captain for the Foxridge Foxes. I am going to be a freshman at Arapahoe High School this year. I have been swimming for Foxridge since 2018 and am excited to be swimming here again. I’ve been a team captain for the last 2 years and have been assisting the practices of kids 6-9 on our team for the last 3 years. I am a 2 time winner of the spirit award and a 2 time winner of the coaches award. It’s an honor to be chosen for the team captain role again. What makes me stand out as a team captain is how long I have been on the team. With my many years of experience I have been with the team and everyone involved for long enough to make good connections and know my way around. I’ve grown up with this team and these people and I have proven to be trust worthy and responsible. I am a valuable asset to the team and I am quite glad to be back this summer. I am very excited to be a team captain for Foxridge and I look forward to a great season with you all!
